Think Win-Win

Lose-Win " I always get stepped on."
Lose -Lose "If I'm going down, you're going down with me.
Win "As long as you win, I don't care if you win or lose."
Win-Win or No Deal "Lets find a solution that works for both of us, or lets not play."
Feel Happy for the Successes of Others glad to see others succeed
Scarcity Mentality Are threatened by other peoples successes, especially those closest to them, such as friends or siblings.
Abundance Mentality Prefer to share recognition and place credit where credit is due.
Make Deposits in Other Peoples Emotional Bank Accounts If your trying to make friends, think about your relationship as a bank account. When you do something that helps the relationship, its a deposit. When you do something that hurts it, you make a withdrawal.
Find out What a Deposit is for the other person Ask what the others persons deposits are
Do small acts of kindness Deposit-treat people with kindness Withdrawal-is to be unkind, discourteous, and disrespectful.
Keep promises Nothing makes a bigger withdrawal then to break a serious promise.
Be loyal When someone shares something with you in confidence, keep it that way
Set clear expectations set expectations with roommates or classmates, to make sure the work gets done
Apologize if you're in the wrong, admit it.
Give feedback let people know how you feel and what's a win for you
Forgive forgive and forget
Think critically means seeing both sides of and issue.
Appeal to authority if you don't trust the information you are getting, go to a trustworthy source.
Cause and affect if you don't trust something, run some of your own tests
Probability weigh the what ifs to see if you, the risk are what will happen if your wrong.
