Gravity: | the force that attracts an object toward the center of the Earth, or toward any other physical body having mass |
Force: | push or pull applied to an object |

Friction: | the force that opposes movement between touching surfaces and always acts against the direction of motion |
Mass: | the measurement of the amount of matter something contains |
Weight: | the measurement of the pull of gravity on an object |
Motion: | the action or process of moving or of changing place or position; movement |
Inertia: | matter’s resistance to change in motion |
Speed: | the rate at which someone or something moves or travels. |
Position: | the place where someone or something is with other people or things. |
Axis: | The two perpendicular lines on a coordinate grid. The horizontal axis is called the X. The vertical axis is called the Y. |
Unbalanced Force: | forces that are not equal causing an object to move or change motion |
Acceleration: | the rate at which the speed of a moving object changes over time |
Direction: | a course along which someone or something moves |
