| Fluid | adaptability, problem solving, worsens over time, (old people cant do this) |
| Crystalized | accumulated knowledge, rises with age |
| Flynn Affect | higher IQ scores today, people are getting smarter |
| Heritability | proportion of variability among individuals |
| Heritability of Intelligence | range from 50-80% |
