Fulcrum A fixed point on a lever
Inclined Plane a slanted surface along which a force moves an object to a different elevation
Input Force the force applied to a machine
Output Force the force a machine applies to accomplish a tash
Energy The ability to do work
Work the quantity of force times distance
Power the rate at which work is done (w/t)
Mechanical advantage the ratio of a machines output force to input force
Wheel and Axle a simple machine made of two attached discs or cylinders, each with a different elevation
