QuestionAnswer
SIMPLE sentence A sentence with ONE SUBJECT and ONE PREDICATE.
COMPOUND SENTENCE A sentence that has two or more INDEPENDENT CLAUSES joined by a CONJUNCTION, such as I like pizza, but I don't like broccoli.
COMPLEX SENTENCE A sentence that has one INDEPENDENT CLAUSE & one or more DEPENDENT clauses.
