categorization/classification grouping items based on similiarities
bibliography a section at the end of an essay that lists the source
text structures the way a passage is organized
cause and effect the reason something happens and what the outcome is of the event
problem and solution when text is organized by an issue and a way to solve it
description when a text is organized by using strong adjectives and adverbs
chronological order when events are in order by the time they occurred
sequencing putting items in order in which they occur
compare and contrast when a passage is organized by explaining how two things are different and alike
fact and opinion one is true and can be supported;the other is feelings, thoughts or ideas
