Drug and medical terminology

QuestionAnswer
Anemia: A reduction in the number f red blood cells and hemoglobin, resulting in the decreased ability of red blood cells to transport oxygen to body cells and tissues.
Exacerbation: Sudden worsening of a condition: flare-up.
Drug & Medical Terminology: The RxList drug medical dictionary contains definitions and explanations of many medical terms including prescription medication abbreviations.
