Secondary Economic Activity

What is Primary Economic activity Those in which people get natural resources from the land or sea, e.g. farming.
What is Secondary economic activity Those in which people process or manufacture products, e.g. car manufacturing.
What is Tertiary Economic activity Those that provide useful services for people, e.g. driving taxis.
What are Secondary Economic Activities? Secondary economic activities refer to the making or manufacturing of products, often in factories.
What is a system Input-Process-system
What is an input These are the things that we need to put in at the start.
What is a process These are the things we do to the inputs to turn them into semi-finished or finished products.
What is an output These are the things we have at the end. They can be semi-finished products which go on to form inputs again, for example, a plank of wood.

What is an Industrial Estate An Industrial Estate is an area of land developed as a site for a number of factories and businesses. It may include existing buildings ready for industries to move in to and use
