Waves of Sound

sound vibrations that you can usually hear with your ears
transfer to move from one place to another
echo a sound that bounces off a surface and travels back to someone's ears
vibration a quick movement back and forth
air the invisible gas that surrounds the Earth
eardrum a part of the ear that vibrates to help us hear sounds
vacuum an empty space without any air
pitch how high or how low a sound is when you hear it
sound wave the way sounds travel in an up-and-down pattern
volume how loud a sound is, measured by the height of a sound wave
wavelength the distance between two points of a wave
