Where does almost all energy come from? the sun
What are the three types of solar radiation? Infrared radiation we feel as heat. Visible radiation we see as light. Ultraviolet radiation which causes damage to our skin and can harm life.
Nonrenewable energy sources include... coal, petroleum, natural gas, and nuclear energy
Nonrenewable means... The supply is limited. The energy resource will be used up faster than it can be naturally replenished.
Renewable energy sources include... solar energy, geothermal energy, wind energy, biomass, and hydropower
Renewable energy sources are renewable because... they are naturally replenished to sustain availability
Renewable energy sources such as solar energy, wind energy, and biomass are made from... the sun
Windmills and dams are used... to produce electricity

What are fossil fuels? A nonrenewable energy resource which takes millions of years to form.

Why is there wind energy? The sun heats the surface of Earth unevenly which causes the air to move.
