Wave | a wave is a disturbance that move energy from one place to another. |
Medium | medium is an american online publishing platform developed by evan williams and launched in august 2012. |
Frequency | frequency, in physics, the number of waves that pass a fixed point in unit time. |
Amplitude | amplitude, in physics, the maximum displacement or distance moved by a point on a vibrating body or wave measured from its equilibrium position. |
Wavelength | wavelength is the distance from one crest to another, or from one trough to another, of a wave. |
Wave Speed | wave speed is the distance a wave travels in a given amount of time, |
Longitudinal Wave | longitudinal waves are waves where the displacement of the medium is in the same direction as the direction of the travelling wave. |
Mechanical Wave | mechanical waves are caused by a disturbance or vibration in matter, whether solid, gas, liquid, or plasma |
Transverse Wave | a wave in which the vibrating element moves in a direction perpendicular to the direction of advance of the wave. |
Electromagnetic Wave | waves that are created as a result of vibrations between an elecitc filed and a magnetic flied. |
