| energy transformation | a change from one form of energy to another |
| Law of Conservation of Energy | a scientific law stating energy cannot be created or destroyed |
| motion | when an object's distance from something else is changing |
| distance | the amount of space between two things |
| reference point | a place used for comparison to see if an object is moving |
| speed | the distance an object travels during a certain time |
