Character Types

TermDefinition
Major Characters Most important character and action revolves around them
Minor Characters Less important in the story and help move the plot along
Dynamic Character Change and grow throughout the story
Static Character Stay the same and do not develop
Round Character Have various character traits and you know a lot about them
Flat Character Only see one side and only know one or two character traits
Protagonist Main character or hero
Antagonist Villain or force in conflict with protagonist
Character Traits describes a characters personality or qualities that make them who they are
