| Heuristic | a problem solving approach to find a satisfactory solution, fast and has flaws |

| Prototype | an original model on which later versions are patterned |
| Algorithm | a step-by-step procedure for solving a problem, slow less flaws |
| Scientific Method | A logical, systematic approach to the solution of a scientific problem |
| Correlation | A measure of the relationship between two variables |
| Descriptive | giving details about; illustrating; explaining |
| Experimental | to explore cause and effect with a trial |
