Analgesic | Used to relieve pain. Suppresses pain without rendering the patient unconscious. |
Anesthetic | Reduces or eliminates pain. |
Anorexiant | Used to decrease appetite. |
Antacid | Neutralizes excess gastric acid. |
Anthelmintic | Eradicates(removes) intestinal worms. |
Antiacne | Controls acne vulgaris. |
