Special Notes | Most side effects are dose dependent Use caution with patients already using an inhalant due to possible development of severe paradoxical airway resistance (worsening bronchoconstriction) with repeated excessive use. |
NOTE ** | Concentrated ALB comes in 5cc. If you are mixing ur own (diluting). Ur total volume must come out to 3 or 6 cc. This means mixing 0.5cc Albuterol with 2.5cc NS to equal 3cc total volume or 1cc Albuterol and 5cc NS to equal 6cc total volume |
