What are the four basic human needs? | Physical, social-emotional, mental and spiritual. |
What are examples of Physical needs? | Food, exercise, sleep, hydration, regular check ups, and hygiene. |
What are examples of Social-emotional needs? | Friends, family, study groups, social media. |
What are examples of Mental needs? | Schoolwork, class discussions, lectures, journals, literature, skill development. |
Give examples of Spiritual needs. | Service, meditation, art, music, nature, inspirational reading. |
How can you sharpen your physical saw? | Exercise, sleep, nutrition. Clear your mind, work your heart, lift weights, take a break |
How can you sharpen your social-emotional saw? | Connect with others, expand relationships & networks, Build friendships, date intelligently, take time for yourself. |
What does renew your mind and spirit mean? | I can keep my mind and spirit healthy by becoming a lifelong learner and staying in touch with my life purpose. |
How can you sharpen your mental saw? | Stay well-rounded and be a life long learner. |
What is a spirit? | Inner self that lurks far beneath the surface of your everyday self. |
