| circumflex | (n) a mark (^) placed above a vowel in some languages to indicate it is pronounced in a certain way |
| deflect | (v) to turn aside and away from an initial or intended course; to throw someone or something off course, often by using a distraction |
| flexibility | (n) the ability to bend or stretch; easily bent or shaped |
| flexor | (n) a skeletal muscle that serves to flex or bend a part of the body |
| genuflect | (v) to bend the knee or touch one knee to the floor in reverence |
| inflection | (n) the patterns of stress and intonation in speech or in a language |
| reflect | (v) to show or bend back (an image); to think back deeply on a subject |
| reflective | (adj) describing a person who thinks things through, or a surface that reflects light or sound |
| reflex | (n) an automatic, instinctive reaction, something your body does without your thinking about it |
