Electricity

TermDefinition
Electricity The flow of electrons.
Static Electricity A build up of electrical charge on a materials surface.
Insulator A material, such as wood or glass, electrons to not move freely.
Conductor A material, such as copper and silver, which electrons move freely.
Current Electricity The flow of electricity through a circuit.
Voltage Electric potential of an electron.
Series Circuit A circuit that only has one path for electricity to flow.
Parallel Circuit A circuit that has multiple paths for electricity to flow.
