| Stage directions | an element of drama found inside parentheses |
| Narrator | person telling a story |
| Acts | the way a play is sometimes divided up, similar to chapters in a book |
| Contribution | helping something or someone to advance |
| Emphasize | to stress or show importance |
| Italics | letters that slant to the right to show emphasis |
