TPACK assignment

TermDefinition
Content Knowledge The What... Its the subject matter we're teaching. Ex: Music, Algebra, Art
Pedagogical Knowledge The How... The tools a teacher will use . As in direct instruction or inquiry based. Group discussion.
Technological Knowledge The Partner... what tool will be used to make the content more accessible to the students while supporting the Pedagogical strategy. Laptop, smartboard, google drive.
TP knowledge Allows us to understand how we're making the content
TC Knowledge Allows us to identify the affordance of pairing the appropriate technology to the content.
PC knowledge Allows us to identify the affordance of pairing the appropriate Pedagogical strategies with the content.
TPACK Comes from the overlapping in that center spot, when all 3 knowledge centers work together.
TPACK stands for: Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge
Pedagogical Teaching strategies by taking into consideration of the students backgrounds, needs, and interests.
Three content areas Content Knowledge, Pedagogical Knowledge, and Technological Knowledge.
