When are intracompany transfers ferformed? When a pharmacy needs a medication in a hurry and other pharmacies in the are that are part of the same company have the needed medication
Responsibility of the transferring pharmacy involved in an intracompany transfer Initiates transfer to produce an invoice for the receiving store
Responsibility of the receiving pharmacy involved in an intracompany transfer Picks up the medication
What should a pharmacy technician do if a patient is prescribed a medication that the pharmacy does not normally stock? Order the medication from the wholesaler. Ask the patient to pick up the prescription the next day.
