| States of matter | Are liquid, solid, gas, and plasma. |
| Melting point | The minium amount of heat required to change a material from solid to liquid. |
| Freezing Point | Temperture at which liquids turn to solids. |
| Boiling Point | Temperture at which a substance in a liquid state becomes a gas. |
| chemical Property | Is any charaterstic that gives a substance the ability to undergo a change that results in a new substance. |
| Chemical change | Is a change in the identity of substance due to the chemical properties of that substance. |
| The law of conservation of mass | States that the mass of what you end with is always the same as the mass of what you start with. |
