What does the symbol C-II on a stock bottle label indicate? The medication is a Schedule II controlled substance.
Which number on a stock bottle indicates the batch in which a medication is produced and is helpful in identifying recalled medications? Lot number
What do the first five digits of a National Drug Code (NDC) number indicate? The manufacturer
What do the sixth through ninth digits of a National Drug Code (NDC) number indicate? The name, strength, and dosage form of the medication.
What do the last one or two digits of a National Drug Code (NDC) number indicate? The package size determined by an FDA code listing
