| What are the BIG THREE? | 1. Can the locator find the location without using the map (address or distance and directions)? 2. Can the locator mark the correct area if they don't have the map, no gps equipment, and no cell phone to call the excavator? 3. Is the entire area that is described on the ticket contained on the map? (or for a homeowner do you have enough info to be able to map it for them?) |

| Do the tickets have to have a first and last name in the first and last name field or can they just have a first or a last? | They can just a first or just a last or both. As long as it's a name of a person. |

| If you need to go to the bathroom is it ok to leave a ticket open as long as you are coming right back? | No, it's never ok to leave a ticket open. Finish processing the ticket or put it back in review and then do the other thing. |

| What is different between a design ticket and a routine ticket | Design ticket needs to have design in the type of work, type of equipment and depth field and routine can not have the word design in any of those fields. |
| Does the intersecting street HAVE to be the street that is closest to the dig site? | NO |
| If the customer provided a 2nd intersecting street but it is incorrect, what should you do? | Remove the info from the 2nd intersecting street field and leave it blank. |
| True or False: It's ok if the polygon doesn't cover the entire back yard when they are digging in the back yard as long as they get as close as they can. | False. The entire area of excavation must be contained inside the polygon on the map. |
| How many tardies could you get in one day if you got all the tardies possible? | 4. Late to work, Late back from lunch, took too much break, clocked out before the end of the shift without an approved time off (less than 15 minutes, more than 15 minutes will get an occurrence point) |
| Do some excavators submit tickets without mapping them? | No, all excavators in all 3 states are required to map their own tickets... that doesn't mean they are correct, but they do it. |
| Do some homeowners submit tickets that they have mapped? | No, at this time, we don't have a way for the homeowners to map their own tickets; however, the systems dept is working on something |
| The customer added marking instructions to the remarks field. What do you do? | Make sure the marking instructions they added in the remarks field are contained inside the area they contained on the map. |
| What happens which you click the REVIEW button at the bottom of the ticket? | What happens when you click the APPROVE-STOP button at the bottom of the ticket? |
| What should you do if you mistakenly delete some information from the ticket but you can not remember what it said? | Ask for help. |
| If you have questions about a ticket is it ok to just ask anyone? | No. Processing ITIC tickets and taking phone calls are similar but not the same. If you have a question about a ticket, please ask someone on the team. |
