Career A chosen field of work
Job Any activity done in exchange for payment
Promotion A job change that moves a person to a higher position or level of responsibility
Salary the regular payment a person receives for work

Working Conditions How things are at a job, such as the environment or hours worked
Production The act of making something
Retirement when someone leaves their career after many years
Resource Something that can be used to support or help
Pension Payment given to a retired person who worked for the company
Career Ladder A series of related jobs within a career that lead to greater responsibility and pay
