Evolution the influence of programmed behavior that drives humans to survive and protect their species
Pheromones chemicals that presumably when released from one human or species can can stimulate and effect the behavior of another human being of the same species

Lateralization the function of the brain that are specific to a hemisphere
Hormones chemical messengers of the endocrine system functioning through the bloodstream that affect processes such as growth and digestion and indirectly behavior
Niche Picking a psychological theory that people choose environments that compliment their hereditary or genes
Epigenetic changes the influence of environment that can create chemical marks on a gene and as a result influences behavior
Neurotransmitters chemical messengers in the nervous system that are secreted by a neuron to affect another cell across a synapse to either stimulate or prevent a behavior to occur
Gene similarity the influence that having the same or similar DNA has on behavior
Gene a unit of heredity which is transferred from a parent to offspring that can be basis of behavior although widely affected by environment
Falconer model that theory that one’s phenotype is influenced by genetics, shared environment, and individual environment
Scheel et al Hormonal study testing the effects of oxytocin using the “Stop distance paradigm” and “Approach avoidance task” found that Men in relationships kept a greater distance and had a slower reaction time

Draganski et al a neuroplaticity study looking at the changes in the brain after people learn how to juggle, found significant growth in brain matter, decreased over time after study
Curtis, Aunger, and Rabie evolutionary study testing if disgust evolved as protection from disease, asked participants to rate 20 pictures and participants were more sensitive to disease salient pictures
Sperry and Gazzangio localization and lateralization study on a split brain patient using images and words, found that the brains ability to produce words is from the left hemisphere and the ability to recognize faces is in the right hemisphere
Freed et al a study on the neurotransmitter dopamine in parkinson's disease, participants received a transplant of dopamine producing cells, found that the transplant did hep especially on younger patients
