Cardiac glycoside Strengthens heart muscles, treat congestive heart failure.
Central nervous stimulant Treats attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder
Contraceptive Prevents conception
Corti-costeroid Prevents inflammation
Cough expectorant Liquefies and remove muscus
Decongestant Reduces nasal congestion or swelling
Diuretic Increase output of urine
Homeostatic Assists in blood coagulation or clotting
Histamine(H2) Receptor antagonist Blocks all phases of gastric acid secretion
Hormone replacement Replaces diminished hormones (menopausal symptoms, thyroid disorder)
Immunosuppressant Suppress the immune system (RA and transplant patients)
