ADRs - ***DRY MOUTH - Incompatible with MAOI - Constipation - Photosensitivity - Involuntary movements - Tachycardia - Neuro issue (life-threatening)
Contraindications - Glaucoma - MI - Children - Urinary retention - Cardiac disease - Renal / hepatic impairment - Seizure history - Suicidal
Interactions - Sedatives --> respiratory depression - Cimetidine --> dry mouth - MAOI --> increased risk for high BP, high fever, severe convulsions - Adrenergic --> increased risk for arrhythmias + high BP
Medication Administration - IM 20-30mg 4 times a day - PO 300mg MAX
