| hydroxyine (Vistaril) | PO, deep IM; avoid IV, SC, intra-arterial. antihistimine with sedative and antiemetic props;anxiety, pruritis. Used mainly in pre-op ON BOARD crash cart; GOOD DRUG. old but still used. |
| zaleplon (Sonata) | PO, C-IV; short-term treatment of insomnia; hypnotic; HAS lots of ADVERSE effects--depression; drowsiness; nausea, dizziness, etc. BEFORE Ambien. |
