| Scurrilous | Making or spreading scandalous claims about someone with the intention of damaging their reputation. |
| Reparation | The making of amends for a wrong one has done, by paying money or helping those who have been wronged. |

| Solemn | Very serious or formal in manner, behavior, or expression. |
