Kinetic energy the energy of motion
Potential energy  the energy that is stored in an object
Light energy energy that allows us to see
Electrical energy energy resulting from the flow of electrical charge through a conductor
Thermal energy the energy of moving particles in a substance

Insulator materials that resist the flow of electricity
Electric current a constant flow of electrons through a conductor
Energy what is needed to do work or cause a change
Conductor materials that allow electricity to move through them easily
Flow to move or travel smoothly in a certain direction
Sound energy a form of energy produced by vibrating objects
Mechanical energy all the energy something has due to its movement and position
Circuit the pathway through which electricity flows
Open/incomplete circuit electrons do not have a path to flow through; light bulb will not light
Closed/complete circuit electrons have a complete path to flow through; light bulb will light
