Pharm tech Chapter 7 Defintions

QuestionAnswer
Communication The ability to express oneself in such a way that one is readily and clearly understood.
Competency The capability or proficiency to perform a function.
Confidentiality To keep privileged customer information from being disclosed without the customer's consent.
Ethics The values and morals that are used within a profession.
Morals Ethics; honorable beliefs.
National Certified Technician One who is proficient in minimum standards set by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
Professionalism Conforming to right principles of conduct (work ethics)as accepted by others in the profession.
