| Newton's 1st Law of Inertia | An object at REST will remain at REST unless an unbalanced force causes a change in the object's motion. An object in MOTION will stay in MOTION at a constant speed and same direction unless an unbalanced force causes a change in the object's motion. |
| Inertia | An objects tendency to resist change in motion. |
| Newton's 2nd Law of Accleration | The force of an object is equal to its mass multiplied by its acceleration. Force= Mass x Acceleration |
| Acceleration | The rate of change of Velocity (Speeding up, slowing down, and/or change of direction) |
| Force | Push or Pull on an object that causes a change in an object's motion. |
| Net Force | The overall force exerted on an object. |
| Mass | The amount of matter in an object. |
| Newton (N) | Unit of Measure for Force |
| m/s2 (Meters per second squared) | Unit of Measure for Acceleration |
| kg (Kilograms) | Unit of Measure for Mass |
| Newton's 3rd Law of Action Reaction | For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. |
| Equal and Opposite | To have an effect that is opposite but equal. |
