Bunk a type of bed where there is one on the bottom that is connected to one on the top
Harness a device that holds someone in place
Pacific refers to the Pacific Ocean. The largest ocean in the world

Hunkering to take shelter
Cockpit the area of a boat or airplane where the captain steers it
Mainsail the largest sail on a sailboat
Navigation tells you where you are and helps you find where you want to go
Causally acting normal eventhough you may be scared or nervous
Adrenaline made in your body to provide strength during times of stress or fear
deteriorating to get worse over time
Mast a tall post on a sailboat where the sail connects
Suspended to be held in the air by something supporting you
Brainiac someone who is smart and wants to learn more
Scudding to move fast in a straight line on the water because of the wind

Conditions what it feels like at a certain location
Cleats a wood or metal area used to tie things to the boat
Churning rough and bumpy water
Resurface to come back up after being down somewhere
Banister a railing on the side of a boat/ship

Downpour a very heavy rainstorm that produces a lot of water in a little amount of time
Struggling difficult or hard to do something
Galley the kitchen area a boat/ship usally found below deck
SOS "Save our Ship" it's a signal to say that a boat/ship is in trouble on the water
Headlamp a light that attached a band that is worn on your head
