Part A Inpatient hospital stays, hospice, nursing home stays
Part B Outpatient hospital and doctor visits, DME
Part C Private companies can offer Medicare, cover Part A and Part B benefits
Part D Prescription Drugs
Health Maintenance Organization (HMOs) Require a member to select a primary care physician from a network of physicians contracted through the HMO.
Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Member is not required to select a primary care physician, but instead may visit any physician contracted within the network
TRICARE Covers dependents of active-duty members, as well as retirees of the military.
CHAMPVA Government program which helps pay for medical costs of veterans and families of veterans who have been disabled while in service.
Medicaid A state run program designed for patients with low incomes
Medicare A federal program for patients over the age of 65, or those younger that have long-term disabilities.
