At the first meeting between the tech and the patient (accompanied by an adult), what should not be discussed? The total amount of radiation the patient will receive with that specific exam if it has to be repeated because of lack of cooperation.
If child abuse is suspected by the tech, what should he/she do? Discuss the facts with the radiologist or supervisor in charge.
