| Hyperalgesia | Excessive sensitivity to pain |
| Hyperesthesia | Excessive physical sensitivity on skin |
| Neuralgia | Pain caused by damaged or irritated nerves |
| Cephalagia | Any pain in the head |
| Neurasthenia | Physical and mental exhaustions |
| Parasthesia | Abnormal tingling (pins and needles) by pressure or damage to peripheal nerve |
| Polynueralgia | Inflammatory disorder with muscle pain and stiffness around shoulders and hips |
| Syncope | temporary loss of conciousness due to fall in blood pressure |
| Agnosia | Inability to interpret sensations and recognize from brain damage |
| Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis | nervous system disease that weakens muscle and impacts physical functions |
| Bell Palsy | side of face muscles weak or paralyzed |
| cerebral atherosclerosis | thickening and hardening of walls of brain arteries |
| Cerebral palsy | impaired muscle coordination |

| Encephalitis | Inflammation of brain tissues from infection or autoimmune response |

| Meningocele | Protrusion of the meninges |
| Meningocele | Spinal cord doesn’t close before birth |
| Myelitis | Inflammation of nerve fibers and myelin sheathing |
| Narcolepsy | Tendency to fall asleep whenever in relaxing surroundings |
| Neuritis | Inflammation of peripheal nerves |
| Polyneuritis | Inflammation and malfunction of peripheal nerves |
| Neuroma | Disorganized growth of nerve cells at the site of a nerve injury |
| Neuropathy | Damage or dysfunction of one or more nerves |
| Polyneuropathy | Group of disorders caused by damage caused to peripheal nerves |
| Poliomyelitis | viral disease affecting CNS that can cause permanent or temporary paralysis |
| Analgesic | Pain relieving medication |
| Electroencephalography (EEG) | tests abnormal brain waves |
| Evoked potential studies | measures electrical activity in brain in response to stimulation to sigh ,sound or touch |
| Ganglionectomy | Excision of ganglion |
| Lumbar puncture | spinal tap to diagnose or treat condition |
| Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) | makes radio waves to make detailed images of tissues in body |
| Myelogram | Diagnostic imaging done by radiologist |
| Neurectomy | Surgery to relieve severe chronic pain and cramping due to pinched nerves |
| Neurolysis | Deliberate destruction of nerve to give permanent pain relief |
| Neurorrhaphy | Surgical suturing of divided nerves |
| Positron Emission Tomography (PET) | procedure that measures metabolic activity of cells of body tissues |
| Padicotomy | Surgical section of spinal nerve roots for pain relief |

| Tpa | clot dissolving medicine |
| Vagotomy | Surgical operation in which one or more branches of vagus nerves are cut to reduce gastric secretion |
