QuestionAnswer
Credit What a student earns for completing/passing a class. Students receive 1 credit for a course that lasts all year, 1/2 credit for a semester long class.
Course Another word for class
Diploma certificate that represents completion of a program of study.
Elective a course that is not required but can be chosen by students who are interested in the class
Graduation Requirements standards that must be met in order to receive a diploma.
Advanced Placement Classes accelerated and more challenging classes.
Freshman 9th grade year

Prerequisite a course that is required before another course can be taken.
