TermDefinition
Credit What a student earns for completing/passing a class.
Course Another word for class
diploma Certificate that represents completion of a program of student.
Elective A course that is not required but can be chosen by students if they are interested in the class.
Graduation requirements Standards that must be met in order to receive a diploma.
Advanced placement Classes Accelerated and more challenging classes.
Freshmen 9th grade year..... how you are classified in high school
sophomore 10th grade year.

senor 12th grade
Prerequisite A course that is required before another course can be taken.

GPA Grading system that averages your grades to determine how performed in all your classes.
