TermDefinition
Credit What a student earns for completing/passing a class. Students receive 1 credit for a course that lasts all year, 1/2 credit for a semester long class.
Course another word for class
Diploma certificate that represents completion of a program of study
Elective a course that is not required but can be chosen be students if they are intersted.
Graduation Requirements standards that must be met in order to receive a diploma.
Advanced placment Accelerated and more challenged classes.
Freshman 9 th grade year...how you how you are classified in high school

Perequisite a course that is reqiured before another course can be taken.
