Credit What a student earns for completing/passing a class.Students receive 1 credit for a course that lasts all year, 1/2 credit for a semester long class.
Course Another word for class.
Diploma Certificate that represents completion of a program of study.
Elective A course that is not required but can be chosen by students if they are interested in the class.
Graduation Requirements Standards that must be meet in order to receive a diploma.
Advanced Placement Classes Accelerated and more challenging classes.
Freshmen 9th grade year.How you are classified in high school.
Sophomore 10th grade year.
Junior 11th grade
Senior 12th grade
Prerequisite A course that is required before another course can be taken.
