Credit What a student earns for completing/passing a class. Students receive 1 credit for a course that lasts all year, 1/2 credit for a semester long class
Course another word for class
Diploma certificate that represents completion of a program of study
Elective a course that is not required but can be chosen by students if they are interested in that class
