TermDefinition
Credit What a student earns for passing a class. So far I have 3 high school credits.
Course A class. I have 6 true courses this year.
Diploma Proof that you graduated high school. My mom keeps her high school diploma framed.
Elective A class you chose. I have 2 electives this year.
Graduation requirements What you must do to graduate. My graduation requirements are to have 30 credits.
Advanced placement classes A faster or higher placed class. I have 2 advanced placement classes this year.
Freshman 9th grade. Freshman is the first year of high school.
Sophomore 10th grade. Sophomore is technically the first year of high school.
Junior 11th grade. I know 3 juniors.
Senior 12th grade. Senior is the last year of high school.
Prerequisite A class you must take before you take another. I have never taken a prerequisite.
Smart Core Arkansas Curriculum. I've been following Smart Core since Kindergarten.
GPA Grade Point Average. My goal is a 4.0 GPA.
