TermDefinition
credit What a studding earns for completing assignments. Bob completed a class and got credit.
course Another word for class. Bob took a math course.
Diploma Certificate that represents completion of a study. Bob got his diploma.
Elective A course that is not required Bob took a PE Elective.
Graduation Requirements Standers that must be met in order to receive your diploma Bob met all of his graduation requirements
AP Classes More challenging classes Bob took AP math
Freshmen First year of high school Bob is a freshmen.
Sophomore second year of high school Bob is a sophomore
Junior Third year of high school Bob is a junior
Senior Last year of high school Bob is a senior
Prerequisite A curse that is required before another course can be taken. Bob has to take math before he can take algebra
Smart Core Arkansas's college and career ready curriculum for high school students. Bob is taking Smart Core so he is ray for collage.
GPA Grading system also know as Grade Pint Average. Bob as a perfect 4.0 GPA.
