TermDefinition
Credit What a student earns for completing/passing a class. S: I got credit for passing math.
Course Another word for class S: I had to retake the course.
Diploma Certificate that represents completion of a program of study S: I Finished high school and got a diploma
Elective A course that is not required but can be chosen by students. S: I took an elective class.
Graduation Requirements Standards that must be met in order to receive diploma. S: I met the graduation requirement and got my diploma.
Advanced Placement Classes Accelerated and more challenging classes. S; I was put in an Advanced Placement class.
Prerequisite A course that is required before another course can be taken. S: I have to take prerequisite in order to play me sport
Smart Core Arkansas's collage and career ready S: I need a smart core so i can go to collage
GPA Grading system the represents that averages your grades to determine how well you perform S: My GPA is high enough to graduate
Transcript Complete representation of a students academic record. S: To apply to an new job i need to bring my transcript
