| Coplanar | points and lines in the same plane are coplanar. |
| Midpoint | a point that divides a segment into two congruent segments. |
| Perpendicular Lines | perpendicularr lines intersect to form right angles. |
| Ray | is a part of a line that consists of an initial point and all points on the line that lie on one side of the initial point. |
| Space | the boundless 3-dimensional set of all points. |
| Angle | two rays that are connected at their endpoints. |
| Congruent Segments | 2 segments with the same length. |
| Obtuse Angles | more than 90 degrees. |
| Plane | is a flat surface that has no thickness. it extends in all directions. |
| Right Angle | exacly 90 degrees |
| Angle Bisector | ray that divides an angle into congruent (=)angles. |
| Conjecture | a conclusin reached by inductive reasoning |
| Inductive Reasoning | it reaches conclusion based on a pattern of specific examples or past events. |
| Opposite Rays | start at the same point and go in opposite direction. |
| Point | has no length, width or thickness, but has a position. |
| Segment | is a part of a line consisting of two points. |
| Collinear Points | points that lie on the same line are collinear points. |
| Coordinate | two axis meets at the orgigin |
| Line | has length, but no width or thickness. it extends without end in two directions. |
| Parallel Lines | coplanar lines that do not intersect. |
| Postulate | a statment accepted to be true without proof. |
| Skew Lines | non coplanar lines, therefore they are not parallel and do not intersect. |
