| Urban Redevelopment | when run-down houses and buildings are demolished and original tenants ae moved to new suburbs. New businesses build on valuable inner city land instead. |
| Urban Renewal | when old buildings are restored or replaced by new. new facilities built to encourage residence to remain in the area |
