What do we achieve when we see the overall picture? gestalt
The "gestalt", signaled by a flash of insight, the "a-ha!" feeling suggests: understanding
What law suggests we associate objects that are near each other? the law of proximity
What law suggests we group things that are similar according to shape, color, tone, etc.? the law of similarity
According to "gestalt" we learn by: understanding the meaning of things.
According to "gestalt" what is the teacher's task? to arrange stimuli so that learners can recognize patterns
