Contra- Indications A factor that prevents the use of a medication or treatment

Mechanism of Action how a drug works
Effects the desired results of administration of a medication
side effects Effects that are not desired and that occur in addition to the desired effects
Drugs the chemical substances that cause changes, physical or emotional, in an individual
Medicine is a drug used to prevent, treat, or cure an illness or pain
three qualities a drug should have Effectiveness, safety, and side effects
Medicines come two different ways By prediction, wirrten order by the doctor, and over the counter, medicicine that can be purchased without a presciption
